You'd think that the announcement of Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green being on the Nintendo Switch would be something to celebrate, right? I know I'm celebrating! I'm buying them on Switch as soon as they drop this Friday! But oh my God, the unbelievably entitled and ungrateful reactions I've been seeing on the internet are just...abhorrent. Just non-stop complaining about the price, it not being on NSO, it not having online support, and so on. Seriously? Physical copies of FRLG go for $150 and more these days, and they were $30-40 when they first came out! $20 isn't ideal, sure, but it's pocket change compared to now! Also, these games never had online play when they came out. Online play for GameBoy Advance games wasn't possible back then! Online play wasn't a thing until the Nintendo DS made it possible, so why are people expecting GBA games to have online play? A feature that they feasibly cannot have unless they were remade from the ground up? Not to mention there's still a lot of information we don't know, and for all we know, Nintendo and Game Freak are probably under NDA and can't say anything until they're given the all clear! Would it seriously kill people to use their heads and think for a second?!It sickens me how ridiculously entitled and ungrateful people have become. We're getting re-releases of games that haven't had one for over two decades, and this is how they react?
