As the snow melts and the birds and the bees make their perennial return anime too once again pokes its head up for a new season. And quite the season as well if the latest spring offerings are any indication. We've got one interesting spring this time around as isekai makes way for comedy and romance, and long-term staples flesh out the ranks. Looking for the popular continuations? The always solid isekai Re:Zero, Dr. Stone's final sci-fi infused season, and book loving Honzuki no Gekokujou have you covered. After some eager upstarts out to make a name? Best be giving the hyped high school romcom Koori no Jouheki, spiritual Inuyasha successor Mao, poultry action extravaganza Niwatori Fighter, whimsical magic of Tongari Boushi no Atelier, and psychological streaming fun of Needy Girl Overdose a try. As for romance itself? You've got it all courtesy of spoiling galore in Otonari no Tenshi-sama, the serene shoujo flair of Shunkashuutou Daikousha, and - as always - the never disappointing chaos that is Kanojo Okarishimasu. Oh and if that wasn't enough to keep you happy, don't be forgetting about mecha adventure Snowball Earth, the dystopian political thrill of Nippon Sangoku, and the latest in demonic battling of Yomi no Tsugai either.
