The stop-motion film Moon of a Sleepless Night (directed by Yashiro Kenji) was warmly received, and the film-related quiz added extra excitement and energy to the evening. After the screening, children eagerly joined a short stop-motion animation workshop and created beautiful lanterns inspired by the film. Gaijin’s shaved ice was another highlight of the night, adding a sweet touch to a festive summer gathering. For CJFC, this event was a reminder of how precious our connection with the local community is. We extend heartfelt thanks to JASC, Gaijin, our volunteers, the parents, and of course the children, who made this night so special.
